Jr. Athlete Goal: Guide kids ages 8-13 years in becoming more active and building confidence by promoting independence and fitness, in a safe and fun environment.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
General Guidelines:
- Jr. Athlete is designed for ages 8-13 years.
- We plan to have a staff member available when possible to take child(ren) with memberships or a day pass to the activity side to play should that interest them. Example of options may be rock wall climbing, basketball, attending Kid Fit programs, and other fitness activities.
- We will have a staff member in the Community Room to engage in activities such as Ping Pong, Foos Ball, board games, homework assistance, and more.
- Child(ren) must have a membership or purchase a day pass ($5) to participate on the activity side of the building (past the Welcome Desk).
- Children ages 8-12 are allowed to be in certain areas of the building unsupervised, although the responsible adult must be in the building during the visit.
- Our staff is there to provide guidance and interaction with your child(ren), however, it is your responsibility to collect them or make arrangements with your child(ren) as to where to meet you at 7:30pm or before.
- We ask if your child(ren) is leaving the Community Room area, to let us know where they are going and we will note the time for your benefit should you come to pick them up.
- Children are welcome to bring snack/drink or use vending area.
- Behavior problems will first be handled by Staff; if situation continues, the responsible adult will be asked to assist.
