Fitness Class Offerings - Class Descriptions

Unless specified all fitness levels are welcome in class. Guests must be at least 13 years of age to participate.

YOGA CLASSES

  • Active Older Adult Stretch - Designed for seniors to gain flexibility and strength through gentle stretching and yoga poses.
  • Beginner Yoga – This class includes Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday to learn postures. Slow moving postures embrace synchronized breathing to help refresh the bodies and minds thus leading to a healthier life. Specifically designed for beginners and/or seniors. 11+ years welcome.  Click here for next class schedule.
  • Intermediate Yoga – For those familiar with Hatha yoga in vinyasa style, this class extends further in depth to enhance flexibility, strength, and awareness. This class includes Monday and Wednesday. 11+ years welcome.  Click here for next class schedule.
  • Strengthen and Stretch - A class that involves using your own body weight to strengthen and stretch.

 

ZUMBA

  • The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. WOMEN ON WEIGHTS 101

  • This class is tailored for women looking for an introduction to weight training.  A female instructor teaches participants the correct form and techniques of weight training exercises, as well as ways to vary load, reps, rest and sets.   Click here for next class schedule.

PILATES

 

  • Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine and aim to strengthen the deep muscles of the torso.  Click here for next class schedule.
