Cardio/Weight Guidelines
  • We strive to make your visit enjoyable and pleasant for everyone, therefore undesirable behaviors and/or profanity will not be tolerated. 
  • Respect all members.
  • Keep free weights on the black mat, do not drop weights.  Please re-rack weights after use.  Use clips on all bars to prevent weight plates from falling off.  Please use a spotter on the bench press or when using heavy weights.
  • Practice good hygiene and wipe down machines when finished.
  • Do not sit on the machines or benches between sets. Let others work in.  A 30-minute time limit on cardiovascular equipment will be effect if patrons are waiting.
  • Check with the Fitness Attendant regarding age requirements on the cardio/weight floor and track.
  • Only water is allowed beyond the Welcome Desk.
  • Please wear family-center appropriate exercise attire, including footwear (no bare midriffs or sandals).  Pants or shorts with zippers, snaps, and buttons can damage weight training equipment upholstery and patrons are asked to avoid wearing such clothing when exercising on the weight machines.
  • An equipment orientation is highly recommended for all patrons and is complimentary. 
  • No spitting on the floors or in the water fountains.
